This year is the first Katimba year of Eureka! That is our word for Lustrum. The idea behind this is that in our post-colonial academic community the prevalence of Latin words like lustrum needs to be changed. The KatimaCo organises all kinds of fun activities to celebrate Eureka’s fifth anniversary and is responsible for coordinating Katimba activities and distributing the money from the Katimba fund among the other committees.
